For this holiday edition, the CHUS Foundation's Relève committee developed two boxes with winter themes: L'Aventurière and La Réconfortante. More than eight local businesses collaborated in the creation of these boxes, including Home Club Socks, Hot Poc, Chocolat Lamontagne, Brûleries FARO, Snack Pow, Bleu Lavande, GERO, Café Vrac and Sherbrooke illustrator Lydia Marier.
The mission of the Sherbybox is to support health in the Eastern Townships through the CHUS Foundation while encouraging the local economy. This year, the funds raised will go to the Fonds de l'Espérance, dedicated to the families of children treated in pediatrics, neonatology and child psychiatry at the Fleurimont Hospital who are in need of temporary financial assistance during this difficult period.
"The CHUS Foundation is proud to present the Sherbybox again this year. It's a great way to encourage local merchants and contribute to our mission to improve health care. In both cases, the people of Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships are the winners!
says Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
All orders can be placed online at Sherbybox.ca. Distribution of the Sherbyboxes will take place on December 11, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., directly at the CHUS Foundation.
