Last night was full of excitement for ten winners of the Grand tirage de la santé | Groupe Beaucage. This annual event, which benefits the CHUS Foundation, came to a close yesterday, Wednesday August 30, with a rallying event attended not only by the ten finalists and their families, but also by partners, sponsors, volunteers and representatives of the eleven Eastern Townships health foundations involved in the draw.

But they're not the only winners in this lottery, as the $290,000 raised will be distributed through 11 Eastern Townships foundations to support a variety of projects in the region's hospitals, improving care for the entire population... In other words: all Eastern Townships residents win a little!
For the CHUS Foundation, the funds will be invested in the Centre mère-enfant et urgence (CMEU) at Hôpital Fleurimont. Among other things, this new building will provide warm, pleasant spaces for children and their families, as well as for emergency patients, the aim being to create a healing, human-centred environment.
