Since its creation, tickets for this evening on the boat have been flying off the shelves. So, for this anniversary edition, CHUS Foundation decided to go all out and welcome more participants with two options: Land & Sea! So, in addition to the 170 or so women who boarded the Grand Cru, nearly a hundred others climbed to the top floor of Magog's Bistro Kóz.
Proceeds from the event go to the Fonds de l'Espérance, a fund dedicated to providing financial support to families of children being cared for in neonatology, pediatrics and child psychiatry during this difficult period.
Car rental, hotel accommodation, cafeteria meals, travel expenses, support for other children in the family: these are just a few examples of the assistance provided through this fund. These are just a few of the ways in which the fund helps to lighten the load of their daily lives.
The objective is to allow parents to have peace of mind and to be there with their child during these trying times.
Thanks to the generosity of the ladies and numerous partners, including Gestion financière MD - Banque Scotia, Genesis Estrie, Promutuel Assurance Centre-Sud, TVA, Québecor média, Escapades Memphrémagog and Kóz to name but a few, a total of $125,000 will be donated to the Fonds de l'Espérance. This is a new record for the event!
