In addition to 10 lucky winners, this annual draw has helped raise funds. For this edition, $275,500 will be invested in health throughout the Eastern Townships, since a portion of the profits is allocated to 10 foundations in the region, all working in the health field and associated with the event.
In regard to the CHUS Foundation, all profits will go to Fleurimont Hospital’s Centre mère-enfant et urgence (CMEU - mother-child emergency centre). This new building will provide pleasant and friendly spaces for children and their families as well as others who need to go to the emergency department. The objective is to provide a healing, people-centred environment that will be well lit, efficient, safe, and calm for patients, their families, and the staff.
