Some 775 Sherbybox 2021 holiday gift boxes were purchased. Sold online via the sherbybox.ca website as an uncomplicated, local gift, this holiday edition offered by the Outreach Committee to the region’s businesses proposed an alternative to the usual corporate gifts. Seven companies came on board and presented Sherbyboxes to their employees and their partners.

It should be noted that the profits generated through the sale of these gift boxes are given to the CHUS Foundation. Since its creation in 2020, the Sherbybox project has introduced and given visibility to more than 25 local businesses, involved more than 60 volunteers, and offered a dose of comfort to thousands of Eastern Townships residents, with more than 7,760 gift boxes distributed.
“The Sherbybox is truly a great addition to the Foundation’s activities because it enables both gift givers and recipients the opportunity to discover local products. It is in perfect alignment with the Foundation’s mission, which is to support the quality of health care provided here. In both cases, the sense of belonging to the region, of helping one another, and of solidarity are the keys to success,” said Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
For the young company Hot Poc, collaborating with Sherbybox was natural: “We wanted to participate in Sherbybox to contribute to this wave of support and mutual aid in our city. At Hot Poc, being involved in and giving back to our society is at the core of our values.”
