This virtual activity allows people to do their Christmas shopping while contributing to the continuous improvement of health care and services offered to the population of Eastern Townships, since each purchase becomes a donation to the CHUS Foundation.
During this auction, participants have the chance to bid online on a wide variety of items for all budgets: jewelry, getaways, gift certificates for restaurants or clothing, tickets to shows, sporting goods, toys, wines and spirits, works of art, beauty and wellness treatments... And these are just some of the 226 items that can be won at the auction.
"The Auction under the tree was born during the pandemic, when we were turning to online options, but we have to admit that people appreciate it, both the merchants, artisans and local partners who offer us items to auction and the participants who discover products and make great deals knowing that they are contributing directly to the mission of the CHUS Foundation. It is truly a great activity where everyone wins,
says Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
As this is an auction, not a sale, participants will not know if they have won the lot they bid on until it is over. The Encan sous le sapin officially began at 7:00 a.m. this morning and will be open for bidding until 8:00 p.m. on November 20th.
