The sale of boxer shorts, in the colors of Neapolitan ice cream, which took place last December and January, enabled $46,000 to be donated to the CHUS Foundation. Part of this amount, $6,000, will be directed to pediatric research.
"It's really important for our company to contribute to the health and care of our region. We are very happy to have had the support of the Eastern Townships community and even other regions for the sale of our three color boxers. Launching this product, knowing that it would have a concrete impact, doubly motivated our team.
explains Roxanne Provencher, Marketing and Communications Director of the Laiterie Coaticook.
"It is reassuring to be able to count on local businesses that help us reach our goals and accomplish our mission. The Laiterie Coaticook is a perfect example and I want to thank its entire team for this initiative!"
adds Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
Boxers still available
People interested in supporting the cause by purchasing a pair of "Neapolitan boxer shorts" can still do so directly at the CHUS Foundation offices at 530 10th Avenue South in Sherbrooke or at the Foundation's boutique at Hôpital Fleurimont. This is a great opportunity for Easter!
