Défi sportif Japon

The CHUS Foundation’s Défi sportif challenge is the perfect opportunity to rise up to your potential on several levels: an ideal project to combine passions and values, self-worth and charity, travelling and challenges... At every edition, participants go on an adventure somewhere in the world not only to tackle a sporting challenge, but also for charitable objectives.
2024 Edition
For its 5th edition, the Défi sportif plans to bring between 10 and 16 participants to the island of Honshu, Japan. The event will be held in September 2024 for a 14-day trip in the Japanese Alps.
This exclusive sporting challenge in the land of the rising sun will take you through three beautiful regions on the island of Honshu. Rated as level 2 (moderate), this mountain trekking trip will please with its generally mild climate as well as a particularly pleasant experience of the local cuisine. The hikes of 4 to 7 hours per day will be mostly in the mountains. The days that require a more sustained effort are interspersed with easier days, with cultural visits or various sports activities. We will visit Osaka, Kyoto, the Japanese Alps, Mount Fuji and Tokyo!
This is a perfect trip for those who are looking for their first long trek. However, you should be comfortable carrying a medium-sized bag (8-10kg), during the 6-day trek in the Japanese Alps. The other days of walking are in daypack mode.
